Turf Engineering Turf Engineering, based in Wedderburn, is a leader in the supply and development of machinery in the Turf Industry throughout Australia. We also export to England, Ireland, Scotland, Italy, Germany, Japan, Sweden and the United States of America.

Products manufactured on site are:

Smooth Cut Mowers, to give a precise cut. Specially designed adjustable brackets allow a millimetre perfect adjustment to cut grass at the exact height.
The Smooth Roll, to give a perfectly flat surface
The Revolutionary Thatch-Away Unit with an interchangeable cassette system which allows no more messy greens, playable immediately after cutting.

Currently we have 12 full time and 9 casual staff. Staff members trade qualifications range from Precise Machinists, Fitters and Turners, Boilermakers, Electroplating, Mechanical Service Technician and a Mechanical Engineer. A Powder Coating/Sandblaster operates from our factory complex. Other contractors include an Electrician, Laser Cutting and Engineering firms with C.N.C. Machines and a cabinetmaker.

A major part of Turf Engineering is the refurbishment of secondhand machines to be resold. Due to the ongoing development of Turf Machinery parts, that are not available to the Australian market, we have the unique ability to manufacture new ones on site. The repairs and maintenance of Golf and Bowling Equipment/Machinery requires us to have a quick turnaround from the time work begins to completion.

The latest product under development from our Research and Development team is a farm plough that works to a depth of 500mm. This implement has been under development by a local farmer for 30 years. The main effect of this machine is to combat salinity and soil erosion.

Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) is a major part of the factory environment. Issues of equipment maintenance and work related safety is ongoing.
