Randalls Supermarket Randalls Supermarket commenced trading in April 1994 after purchasing the site from the ANZ Bank. When the site was purchased it had been closed down for quite some months ans was in a state of disrepair. It needed to be completely refitted with shelving, plant and equipment.

With help from the local Shire, (who were keen to have the store re-open), new footpaths and garden beds were created to give a more appealing look to the outside of the store. Assistance was also obtained from local and outside trades people including builders, plumbers, painters and concreters.

Equipment was sourced for the store and so the fit out commenced creating new office space, deli area, cool room area, liquour department and general store grocery department. The store started to take shape with many locals showing a keen interest in the progress.

During this time applications were sought from persons interested in being employed in the new store. Interviews were conducted and six full time and two part time persons were employed. This has now grown to nine full time employees and fourteen part time employees. Support from local people shopping at the store has resulted in it going from strength to strength.

With continual improvements being made including heating and cooling, EFTPOS on all laneds, updated meat and fruit and vegetable cabinets and many other changes and improvements happening, the store will be a part of the Wedderburn community for many years to come.
