The park is located adjacent to historic goldfield areas. Immediately behind the park are well marked walking tracks where one shares the stark beauty of typical Australian bush with a plethora of birdlife. The old reservoir at the rear of the park also offers a beautiful setting for a picnic or some simple relaxation in a magical setting.
